My personal real life experience (me replaced by Gen Z)

Gen Z:
How sure are you about this? Can you give more information to support your claim?

Boomer:
My friends in my close chat group all discussing lah

Gen Z:
Who is your friend? How do you know his info is accurate and factual?

Boomer:
My friend is very close with all the PAP people, he even eat lunch drink tea with LHL every week! He's in the innermost trusted circle of the PAP!

Gen Z:
He say you believe? Did you verify the info on your own? YES or NO?

Boomer:
Don't be so disrespectful and stubborn! Already said he's from PAP inner circle! You must be opposition supporter! You will lose your job soon!

Gen Z:
Simple question, did you verify the info? YES or NO?

Boomer:
Slams table, storms off
common phrases include 很多人讲的,你们年轻人很铁齿

There is chao boomer and respectable boomer.

Chao boomer:
Use loud voice and violence. This type i simply ignore, very difficult to tune out? This kind probably only hang with the same bunch, or emotionally v lonely. Who cares empty vessel

Respectable boomer:
Mostly keep very quiet, probably just observing what u actually are. This part is important because GenZ are either saying what they don't mean or being a really damn chao GenZ

Must know how to differentiate which type of boomer u talking to la, the lao ah beng type pls ignore, the fact that they use aggression actually just trying to intimidate you and u lose your cool or train of thought, see what happens when u tune out - either they get louder and louder or they lose their facade
