So it really saves alot power? When I on it my core can be as low as 800Mhz

But when your usage ish intensive, won't upping and down'ing the voltage cause any harm to the core?

hmm. Adaptive Voltage allows me to set a upper limit of what voltage it can go even for OC.

Which I set to the lowest stable voltage. but when running AVX instructions, it will not work.

I not sure how much power it saves, but letting your cpu runs cool and slow when idling is a good thing.
