I do use it because I have a "mounted" setup. Using MX Master 4

Yes. Mouse beats trackpad for long-term use.

Touchpad/Trackpad gives me carpal tunnel syndrome within just a day. Because cannot rest all fingers on the trackpad, whereas all fingers can rest on the mouse.

My fav mouse is Logitech M750L connected wirelessly via USB LogiBolt for highest sampling rate, LinearMouse app providing the custom settings that match my Windows experience.

I am using Inphic IN09 tri-mode mouse (normal version and Huawei NearLink version) with my MacBook Neo, Acer Aspire 14 AI 2025 model, or Acer Swift Go 14 2024 model. Occasionally I also use Logitech Pebble mouse or Xiaomi Bluetooth Mouse.

BTW, I am using the old Logitech M705 mouse and Logitech K480 keyboard with my Mac Mini M1.

I changed the mouse app from LinearMouse to BetterMouse because the smooth scrolling feature is much better.

I use attack shark mouse X11 that is similar in shape to razor pro v3 pro but it has bluetooth, 2.4g wireless or usb connection and is also rechargeable.

Then I purchase and download Bettermouse app to customize my buttons.

Scroll wheeling click -- double click to open folder/file

Side button 1 short click -- back
Side button 1 long click-- Apps (previously is launchpad)

Side button 2 short click -- forward
Side button 2 long click-- volume down

The Logitech MX 4 is a good mouse with lots of customizations. I just can't get over the ergonomics and price.

I know, I bought it during sales in Shopee for $130 still a bit ex but I bet I can use them for over a decade like my last Logitech M series which is still running after almost 16 years!

MX4 is for really long fingers.
It gives me pain after some time, so I can't use it for long. It needs to be slightly smaller and shallower for me.
