do You Think RISC is Making a comeback?

Well, RISC vs CISC war pretty much ended a long time ago.......

But now do you think its making a strong comeback in the form of ARM processors? While windows platform dominate servers and PCs, android, Apple OS in mobile devices and tablets.

Ironically, its also due to the same company that ditched RISC CPUs for x86. I think this bloom in mobile and tablets has to be attributed mostly to Apple.

Now, we are even talking about ARM servers....who knows, maybe RISC based CPUs will one day power our computers instead of CISC and windows.

The bifurcation of CPUs into pure CISC and pure RISC is long long long gone.
