Don't know if it's asked before. How often you turn off your computer? Anyone keep PC running 24/7?

I only turn my pc off when I am going to sleep. Other than that it is always on when I am at home.

My pc can't off completely, max is put to sleep. Once off, it takes long interval to be able to on again.

Hmm... for some reason I can't put my computer to sleep lol. So bobian have to just off monitor. Current up time is 9 days.
Lazy shutdown and on though I have ssd lol.

Help will be appreciated haha.. My pc when I press sleep, automatically my monitor will turn on again into the lockscreen.. I already go to the control panel--> Power management to disable all the devices incl. internet that auto wake the pc up. Am

Either motherboard or PSU is the issue.

should be motherboard issue. After power off, I tried with another proven working PSU still unable to power on. Then leave the system for 16 hours then I could power it on again.
The board is Asus Crosshair III Formula...:(

disconnect mouse/keyboard after click on the sleep button and see
Now I have to put my pc into sleep but no such issue unless I move the mouse/press keyboard

I think you can disable wake using keyboard and mouse option in the BIOS

somedays leave on... somedays switch off when i sleep or when i go out

mains always on and i can start my pc by pressing any key on my keyboard
even without ssd, boot up time isnt that bad

but on the whole, its kinda bad for normal hdd since the motor still spinning (out of 5 hdd only 2 is WD green, others are seagate and samsung 2-5yrs old)

slightly overclocked
and even though power draw is low when idle, fan spins down, ambient heat in case goes up... like 2 degrees, manageable but increasing fan rpm during idle shortens fan life

i need a new case and setup positive pressure inside and get non-stock cpu cooler soon
