I wonder which one to get.

On one hand I want to reduce physical space usage.

On the other hand physical book can lend others, while e-book cannot if there's DRM and lending is not enabled. Easier on the eyes too, unless using paperwhite which is comparable (but I don't have it).

I love physical books but maintaining them is a nightmare. Yellowing of pages, molds, psocids infestation etc…

Nowadays I just go with ebooks.

I would prefer not to pirate.

Unless very expensive, not easily available, or have to access many books on a topic and have no access to library (means too expensive too), or just need a little info and not availabe in google books preview.

Bought my first amazon ebook few weeks ago. Have a few ebooks from other stores.

I find ebooks not very suitable for technical, non-fiction with diagrams. If mainly text then is fine. Coz the screen for ebook reader is small and greyscale. I'm using tablet and phone though.

As to being able to lend people physical copy, I realise it's a moot point since I have little friends who even visit my house. If I even do have people who I can lend to, it might be the case that I can well afford physical copy or even gift them ebooks, especially if I find that the book is helpful to them.

Ok I found my answer. Now to amazon. :s13:

You have one?

Yes. Love real books. But Really no place to keep Liao. So took a gamble on kindle paperwhite. Well worth it.

Always have book available to read. I bought a few books from Amazon as well. So convenient.
