ULTIMATE WIFE BAIT! CUSTOM DIY KITCHEN CABINET REVEAL
Playing with wood, you need to be very very precise with measurements. Things such as M5 M6 screws define their diameter in mm. So m6 nuts have a diameter of 6mm....and so on. 6 3/4, etc. etc. I would prefer to reinforce the top if I was the one doing this. I would waterproof every piece of wood before assembly...ha ha...maybe just me.
A lot of diyers tend to feel alright with their own creation, but leaving too much gaps there, you have to think about insects, bugs going into the cabinet. Things that goes into cabinets dun necessary are dry when you are using them, so whether to allow
air holes in between, you have to think about that even if you engage your contractor to do it.
