Sorry for the ranting post.
So in Feb my PSN account was compromised and Primary PS4 was changed. The hacker bought a few titles as well ( I have linked my credit card, stupid me). It was 4 am local time. As soon as the next morning, I contacted the PSN cs and bank. PSN CS rep promised a call back for unauthorized purchases but I did not receive any call.

As you would have guessed the bank terminated the transactions and my account was banned. I emailed the PSN customer service again and the whole experience is pretty darn frustrating. They refused to make things right. I asked for their name but there is no reply. What kind of customer service rep afraid to introduce themselves? I requested to speak with the supervisor but they repeat the same thing "The only way to get back your account is to settle your debt". Yes, they said "debt" like I owed them.

Their PRC/HK customer service reps are horrible. Primary school kids talk better than them. They "sigh" at me!

The problem is I have those games the hacker bought in blu Ray. Why would I pay for the same game twice?
I was looking forward to FFXV. This sucks. And my library full of games are useless now. I should have bought blu-rays.

If any of you, are in same situation and are in Singapore please let me know. I am hoping we can go for the legal route.

Thus those considering to buy PS4, don't buy it!!! And PS4 owners, go Blu-Ray forget the PlayStation store, anything happen those games you downloaded are as good as gone. Their customer service does not exist.

PSN customer support is horrible. Noone has the power to do anything and it takes forever to get anywhere especially if there is any issues to do with transactions or funding of your account. To cut a long story short, because my account is domiciled overseas, in order for me to restore it, I had to get a friend to buy PSN money from 7 eleven overseas and send me the codes so that I could take a photo of it to email them (yep, you can't even restore account online or pay using credit card - even if already saved to account) to get my account back. Just painful.

This is one area where I've found Microsoft to be far more helpful.
