My phone still under apple care+ warranty, brought it down but it seems that now they do repairs instead of replacement?

Replaced the whole phone and reused the screen

Is that the norm now? :o

make use of the hidden privilege you have with applecare+ warranty. #ers
payable though. so depends on what you are trying to achieve.

some people may like this repair also. cause convenient. don't have to restore.

I think for accidental damage need to pay a fee?

The repair also need to restore, cos they basically replace the entire iphone except use my old screen :s13:

so internals and side / back panels are all 'new', except the screen

Good for another few years i guess :o

I sent my iPhone 12 Pro for battery replacement, and they just replaced the battery.
That's all.

Battery replacement usually is replace battery only, it won’t be a 1 for 1 replacement.

make use of your ERS, log a case with a live agent
FOC if your phone is not physically damaged

certain devices they will just do 1-1 cause cannot repair.

e.g., like Apple Watch. I believe APP also.

even without going via ERS

I received my replacement liao, how do i return my old item? :s13:

No instructions in the box..

When you set up the ERS, they never mention anything about how to return?

Never.. they said inside the package will have instructions LOL but nothing except shipping label.

I had to go search on my own and go DHL website to set up a pickup :o

Got a return label sticker inside
use the same box they shipped your replacement phone
You can call the hotline to schedule a pickup, make sure to do it within the time frame else your card will be charged the full amount for the replacement phone.
