Does Bintan accept sgd?

Anybody recently went to Bintan can advise if resorts and shops still accept sgd?

Search online and saw news that all resort now accept rupiah only. Do the resorts and shops outside of resort still accept sgd?

Bro. any nice resort in Bintan? wanting to book for 7-8 august but so expensive...

For accommodation, possible. Others, no. Very strict on this new regulation when I went last year
