Does degree with Hon makes any diff?

I'm choosing between SIM (RMIT AU, Marketing, no hon) vs PSB (Coventry UK, Advertising & marketing with hon)

I've heard a lot about having hon will be good for promotions / pay in the future. But in this case, Coventry got lower world ranking compared to RMIT. And i'm confused which one to choose.

Having a good honours will make you more competitive compared to other non-honours or lower honours candidates.
- but it only applies when there are strong contenders to that job. If there are no contenders, then you will most likely get the job when the company eagerly need someone to fill the space.

For SIMGE RMIT, if need be, you can always travel to Australia to complete your honours year.

In my own opinion, I am not very fond of your available choices. I think there are better ranked universities in SIMGE and Kaplan.

SIM RMIT looks ok to me, but the other uni a bit alien, maybe u might wanna choose other much well-known and reputable unis.

Honors Vs No Honors

If you are looking for government sector job, having a honours degree is strongly recommended as it will command a higher starting pay.

Join the Economist Service which requires a good honours degree typically means first class and second class. The biggest advantage that comes with honor is that it proves that you are the cream of the corp, the top of the cohort. This will definitely look good on the work resume.

Private, depending if it is a MNC or SME, for SME, i believe a good basic degree will suffice but for MNC, they will consider your Honors as a strong plus point.

Honors only mean higher starting salary in gov sector, then usually applies to local ivy not DL.

Higher starting salary does not mean 10 yrs later u still be higher.

Well it's direct honors with UK, no option to opt out of honors
Uk degree B+ Avg already 2.1 not hard must be real f up to that 2.2 or below

Yes it does for just the starting pay for garmen job. My work place pay 3rd class $300 more than a normal degree, $400 more for 2nd lower,$600 more for 2nd upper and $800more for first class. But private sector seem to pay all the same
