Does GST applies on SSENSE product ?

Yea, these kind of imports (merchandise) will incur a 7% GST... not sure if it must be >$400.

I've seen taxes only applicable when the total value is >$400, in the case of shipping from comGateway. Would appreciate other inputs too

depends if the merchant willing to mark it down for you, email them and ask or declare as gift

SSense yes, they do not include import tax.

Some others like Luisaviaroma, MrPorter already included import tax, so even if you buy 2K item, you will not get taxed.

And the 400 value INCLUDES shipping charges as well, and cannot use actual spot rate to see if you hit the $400 mark, as they will probably convert using a higher rate.

So to be safe is probably about 380SGD and below in spot rate.

Most big boutiques like them do not undervalue their products as well for insurance issues.

never order from ssense before, are they reliable and legit?

usually order from mr porter, but saw an item with great discount which i really want.

seems like they now include Taxes and duties in the price?

the item i wish to order is over USD$600
