I’m raised in a Buddhist family, and there were countless times I refrained from talking bad about someone or doing sabotage missions, because I’m worried about karmic retribution.
fundamentally I can’t confess to be a good person, but religion does make me a better person. Of course, there are also people without religion who behaves kindly because of the people they are

but sometimes it's hard to follow the precepts when people you meet can be really mean outside

Nah I seen many fake christians. And treat their religion only for a status n networking. Been to church few yrs n felt is a scam left n true enough the church after while also toh. Ppl there say what forever friends. Only forever friends if u stay. Wasted my time gave so much time n money.

Even tho I was just student. Gave all my part time income lame n stupid

Then met many pretentious post ig about thank God kinda bs. Yet daily lives also not follow teaching. Like eg. Got close sales post ig thank God for this n that yet personal life also cohab, party etc.

Damn lame one. I actually find Christian most annoying even tho I was one

All religions teach good. Humans are not perfect. Look at Myanmar. Hw they treated the Rohingya Muslims.

by the way, it’s more of defence to protect themselves from those barbarians, not doing it in the name of their god, u know some religion ask devotees to kill ppl who dun agree with them or ppl who renounce the religion.

If like tat say, can never end lah. I am not there and i dont know what exactly happened to both factions. To be fair you need to listen to both side of the stories. Anyway two wrong does not make one right.

As for ur second para, you are referring to Islam. Is stated in the Quran theres no compulsion in religion. Also mentioned killing a person will be as if they killed all of humanity; and whoever saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity.
