Does this PSU have enough juice for me

Max 12v = 250w
Max total = 300w

Specs:
i5-2500 (95w tdp)
Intel stock cooler
Msi h61m motherboard
Gtx 1060 3gb (120w tdp)
Dvd-rw
Adata 960gb ssd
1 x 80mm fan, 1 x 50mm fan

Have to use a tfx psu in order to fit into the sff case
Im probably going to undervolt my gpu and upgrade to ryzen 3300 (50w tdp)

What im worried about is the 250 watt limit for 12v rails. Is that enough? What components use 12v rail and which ones use 3.3, 5v?



Ps: anybody knows how to how to transplant flex atx internals into tfx psu? Or know where to buy flex atx to tfx adaptors?

FSP 300W is a little low for gtx1060. At least a 450w if u can.

The highest (non china) tfx psu i could find is seasonic tfx 350 but cant find it anywhere in sg, corbell doesnt bring it in

Do u know any shop/reputable people who can transplant flex atx psu internals into tfx cover? Becos theres lots of 350w flex atx and even 500watt and its smaller than tfx somemore lol

The CPU and GPU usually draws bulk of their power from +12V, which is why we have the additional +12V plugs going to the motherboard and gfx card.

PC Fans usually operate on 12V as well, you should find the power consumption spec on the fan itself.

RAM and SSD usually 5V or 3.3V but they usually draw very little power. RAM are about ~1W per chip (so maybe 8W~16W) per DIMM and SSD <5W

With 95W TDP and 120W TDP, 2 fans and stuff, you will be pushing it the 250W limit on the +12V line. But since you are undervolting the GPU and I assume not overclocking it, it should still be OK until you switch to a Ryzen CPU. With the Ryzen's TDP, you are looking at total 170W~200W max on +12V which is a relatively comfortable and efficient level.

While TDP isn't actual real life power draw, it is usually a good enough guide and with FSP being a decent manufacturer (at least in the past), the PSU should be able to handle for now.
