Wats app must use SG Roaming cannot use local wifi.

For China only ...on purpose to make it so mafan one, so in china office either i use roaming data or just toggle in and out of the wifi.

In hotel room i just use the VPN on ipad for streaming and Starhub TV+

I'm in china now. Occasionally can receive WhatsApp msg. Sent out , maybe it works... It's mostly pending

If U use data roaming no issue. If use local Sim card pure text messages can go thru but super retarded (can wait for half hr or more). Pic attachments 100% can't go thru.

cheaper to buy cmhk global sim card. either from sim lim tower or shopee.

Sorry to bump up old thread. I'm visiting China and am also vivifi user. So buying the roaming pack (think it's vivifi go roam4?) works for your son and can use WhatsApp?
