Door Lock

Hi guys, my door lock recently has been causing a lot of issues and it couldn't lock a lot of times. In the past, when I close my door, it would auto lock. I have changed my batteries several times but the lock kept on screwing up. So I am looking to change the whole lock. I googled around and saw Schneider Electric Xightor Pro in their door entry system. Has anyone tried them? Are they reliable and good? Or are there any recommendations for door entry system?

hmm to be honest, I am not too sure about the product from Schneider Electric because I have never used it before. as in what caught my attention was their safety function which I thought will come is handy and will provide more security for my family. apparently the product has a safe operating stop and 8 alarm zones function. i am not too sure how it works, and that's why I am asking for opinions. it also caught my attention because of their sustainability like they are toxic heavy metal free (according to their website). at the same time, I am not sure about it because it seems to me that there might be also other companies that are also promoting sustainability. not really a must for me but I mean it adds to the good impression?

I am also looking at Samsung Ezon Smart Digital Door Lock but I am not sure about its reliability and usage as well. But it looks smart tech to me as well. I am still weighing my choices now because I don't want to invest in another expensive door lock to only have it spoil within a few years. So if there's any recommendation or review (which is hard to find for door locks...), I would greatly appreciate it as well!

Oh, think I will explore more options first before contacting the Schneider Electric sales...still quite undecided at this point, or wait till ** phase 2 to go down to physical stores

I don't think Schneider Electric specialise in door lock. I am currently using Samsung. I have to say that it is not working well for me and if i were to change it one day, i will explore Yale or something else.

I have been using Samsung Ezon FingerPrint Smart Digital Door Lock SHS5230 since 2014. The mortise lock unit broke down once in 2018 due to mechanical wear-and-tear but can be easily replaced. The electronic was reliable and so far quite happy with it.

Just wanna ask, cause I'm getting a digital lock too, where do you guys find the technician or doorsmith to do the installation? Has any recommendations?
