Downsizing PCs

Mini pc with this spec usually not so cheap. Really top up a bit can get laptop.

Is intel N3450 processor capable of doing office and chrome browsing? Say open 2 tab max.

You will tio frame drop in Youtube in 1080p with N3450.

My downsizing needs are actually quite similar to TS but the main difference is that I still actively game on triple AAA games and want the flexibility to still upgrade components when the need arises. Wanted to create a thread but it is what it is.

My rig==> Casing is Corsair 730T which my friends have all said its overkill for my needs and components.

My friends have said that having a smaller case will actually help in airflow as although my case is big and airy, it actually doesn't have efficient airflow. Having a smaller case would help in better movement of airflow.

Since then I have been wanted to shift all my components to a smaller casing. NZXT has been always the talking point by my friends so recently I have been looking at NZXT H710i for sometime.

Not sure if anyone can advise too. Requirement is must fit all my components from my current rig.

Think with your atx mobo, not much smaller..

You can consider using a Cube Casing.

mATX is best since it is just slightly bigger than mITX but that extra size is for more expansion slots which come in really useful

But manufacturers don't like small mATX cases sigh. Partly due to the additional depth allowed for mATX, but that is not really an issue when many mITX cases are long to accommodate graphics cards. Plus the area above the mobo not blocked by the card can be used for HDD. There needs to be more sub-20L mATX cases.

I went from matx(been on it since the start) and now mitx...Good enough for my requirements with the nr200 case..

most matx cases are above 20l, and those that arent generally have gpu/psu restrictions to achieve sub-20l. i think 25l is the sweet spot, with enough space for airflow, part clearance etc while still being not too big, and there ur options are aplenty.

This is Full ATX Casing.

Either Tower or go Cube.

dont think it is possible to get any smaller without sacrificing ports

Now I can fit all 3 mini pc into my original itx box

It's very decently priced.

Looks good for 24/7 Torrent PC or HTPC for living room.

Actually for these small setups are they sufficiently powerful to connect to a 34” monitor and to run at 3440x1440 resolution (videos etc.)

Depends on CPU.
Watch video can be doable.
Gaming maybe can 30fps in Low.
