Driver recommendations in Hualien

Hi guys,

Thanks so much for the tips provided (in my previous threads). We've decided not to visit Alishan after all, having had the benefit of hearing all your valuable advice.

Does anyone have any drivers based in Hualien to recommend? We're looking for maxi-cab size vehicles (ashmaxicab.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/viano-interior.jpg)

I received an offer of NT13.5k for a 2-day trip:

- Day 1: Pick us up from our minsu in Cingjing and send us to Hualien + tour some attractions around Hualien.
- Day 2: Bring us from Hualien to Sixty Stone Mountain and Brown Boulevard, and back to Hualien in the evening.

Is this a reasonable amount? Thanks!

Hualian is mountain roads all the way
Quite the tough journey for passengers & driver
