Recently completed building my first rig. Installed windows 10 thru usb stick. Skipped product key. When I tried downloading my MOBO-updated drivers and tried to run them. I get a error saying something like you cant run them on your system windows10 64 bit or something similar to that.

I figured it might be because I have not activated windows 10 fully yet. Correct me if Im wrong.

Furthermore, when I enter BIOS, my ram shows Im using ddr4 2133 when I actually insert ddr4 2666. Anyone know whats wrong? Im using asus h270f. ( I know it supports up to 2400 only but 2400 was oos so i just went with 2666 )

And if anyone here recently bought windows10 anywhere for low price please intro me to seller thanks.

You don't need to activate before you can install drivers. Check if you download 64-bit drivers?

As for ram, it is OK to run at lower speed as long as it is stable. You may want to manual set dram timing in BIOS.

If you got DVD writer or USB DVD writer, use the driver CD from Asus to install the drivers.

Yes i installed all those but during geforce game ready driver installing, installations always fail. Graphics driver fail, physx system software fail, hd audio driver fail etc. I am not sure if its even needed but i still dont see amy reason why it should fail

Look like a conflict there. Possible to let Windows Update detect and install the driver?

As far as many do not know that when you first install Windows 10.
The drivers will be automatically loaded or pulled from Windows update.
The only way to prevent this is just by unplugging the PC from the network.

TS, you may have to reinstall the OS again but this time without
the network than you can install the drivers.
Reason why the driver fail is because the OS is also installing
the driver thus creating a conflict.

Should I do just a simple guide to install Windows 10?
Hmmm... maybe I should.
