It will slow down the processor due to the drop and some internal things in the IC to protect itself from further drop. Hence it throttle down to the speed of iPhone 8 instead of XS. Faster replace it

Check if your Face ID still works. That is the most prone to fail. The module seemed to have the most problem when dropped according to reddit reports.
