Presently for both Nikon and Canon range of DSLR, any ideas which model the battery can directly charge by external battery pack through direct connection between the DSLR and the external battery pack itself ?

Can i choose NTSC in Singapore? NTSC can shoot 60fps while PAL only 50.

don really understand your question.
I am not an expert in videography, so I am answering with limited knowledge and with advice from my videography friends....

Most TVs are probably multisystem and in Singapore, all DVD players accept NTSC discs, so you could use either format.

If you are producing for web purposes or electronic purpose on the computer then I would say it does not matter which format you choose.

If you are producing for media purposes like making DVDs, PAL is more convenient to work with (from my limited knowledge).

Try to get one with Vari-angle LCD type , it will be very useful. You can always use credit card instalment to purchase. Always buy a good filter for your camera lens.

If you do not mind the older model , you can look at : -

Canon - EOS 700D or EOS 750D or EOS 760D

Nikon - D5300 or D5500 or D5600

I suggest to spend a bit more to get a better tripod so that you do not need to re-buy another at a later stage.
