Hi all, recently bought a asus z87 hero with i5 4670k.

PC unable to boot in dual channel "error 55" both A1 A2 and B1 B2 no post, with single channel I was able to boot A2 & B2 with post but single channel A1 & B1 i got the same "error 55" no post.

Ram I'm using is gskill RipjawsX F3-12800CL9Q-8GBXL which is in the QVL list.

Is the mobo and cpu I bought defective? Already check for bent pins in the socket, all is fine no bents. Does this mobo need to activate some dual channel configurations?

Dual Channel for Asus Maximus VI Hero
recommend is to use A2 with B2 (Red)
A1 With B1 (BlacK)

Please Check your Manual again.

A1 B1 is not Dual Channel for Asus Boards.

you may like to test with 1 stick of ram one at a time for all slot.
and swap any stick and repeat the process.
