dual sense controller thumb sticky

my dual sense that came with the PS5 thumbstick become sticky overtime. is it actually cover under warranty??

I think it is due to the climate. thumbsticks on my other devices such as joycon, dualshock3-4, tend to be "sticky" if not in use for some time. This could be due to the lack of "oil" from our thumbs - gross as it may sound, one way to quickly rectify is to rub your thumb and index finger up and down the side of your nose, and then "coat" the affected sticky thumbsticks.
