I'm using a Samsung J2 Pro 2018 with SIM 1 for 4G/LTE data using TPG & SIM 2 3G for calls/SMS using Singel Prepaid. I just topped up $10 for my Singtel on 3 May but on 4 May my balance turn to less than $2! Upon checking, I found that my SIM2 was switched to data without my knowledge. So I topped up $10 again. The same thing happened again on 24 May; my balance less than $2 SIM2 again switched to data without my knowledge. Does anyone know whats wrong?

You have to set sim 1 to data (still can use for voice) and sim 2 to voice only. Also suggest you turn off data for the prepaid card, which is a default setting. Get this b4, you ran out of all the prepaid store value within a day or 2.

Luck when I called Singtel hotline, one lady understood my problem, she confirmed with their system and restored the stored value to my card. So give them a call, they can also disable your prepaid card data from their end. So that you dont have to worry if phone is setup wrongly.

I had set my SIM1 to "data". What I don't understand is how did my phone change my Singtel prepaid in SIM2 to "data" when I originally set it to "calls & sms". This happened twice within 2 weeks! I have now called Singtel to disable data and also set my SIM2 to 0GB data limit/0GB data limit warning. I have also called Singtel as per your advice and the CSO said she will restore my stored value and that they do not change the SIM card setting of my phone which means most likely my phone automatically change my SIM2 to data.
