Question coz something just came to mind about this dual WhatsApp thingy...

- Presently 2 WhatsApp lines in 2 different phones, Primary and Private.
- Thinking of adding private WhatsApp line to primary phone, so both WhatsApp messages will fall into just 1 phone.
- When I just want to take only the primary phone out, I'll forward the private line calls to primary phone.

Do you think this will work? Anything else that I should consider?

Setup both whatsapp on iOS since iphone u only change once a year.
The other phone I presumed it's an android. Scan and link both whatsapp account to android device. Both phones can have both whatsapp account on it. This is what I did currently.

And oh, I'd need to ensure everything from my private Whatsapp goes over to my primary phone as well, right? Is there anything in particular that I've to do, other than adding the number? Sorry, dual WA noob here.

Ensured that you had perform a backup for your whatsapp. Then when logging in on the other iPhone, it will prompt you for restore. Just follow the steps to restore and everything should be swee swee restore.

Make sure backed up then port over, similar process when changing phones.
Don't think there's anything else that needs to looked at specially.

That’s interesting, chanced upon this thread, I didn’t even know Android WhatsApp could add account, like 2 numbers on a single WhatsApp app. That’s a welcome feature for those wanting to just limit themselves to just holding 1 phone for multiple numbers. Now even IOS WhatsApp have this feature. Very nice
