Dual WhatsApp solution on IOS

ios users will have to wait, looks like they are rolling it out in phases, my other family members got it back in Mar, Apr, but mine was just enabled 2 days ago. so those who dont have it yet will need to wait somemore.

Same i also just saw the option yesterday. So, before this, it was right that not everyone has it in their whatsapp.

Yeah pretty sure you’re right. I have been checking it every day or alternate day to see if they have release it via server side even when there are no WhatsApp app updates. Cos assuming everyone is getting same copy of the app(latest since March) and some of us already using it to death. Just the batch of us is not getting it arghhh anyway nice to have that option now!

I see a + icon next to profile pic now. can add account but if i want to transfer backup from another phone I wonder if it is possible

That’s interesting, chanced upon this thread, I didn’t even know Android WhatsApp could add account, like 2 numbers on a single WhatsApp app. That’s a welcome feature for those wanting to just limit themselves to just holding 1 phone for multiple numbers. Now even IOS WhatsApp have this feature. Very nice

Many features u see on iOS and the upcoming iOS 27 are things Android users already enjoying since 5-10 years ago.. coming from someone who have been using Android.. in the past iphone 3G and now holding iphone air lol..

IOS always seems very slow to adopt new features, my auntie passed me her old 16 pro max, now starting to do some setup.

apple is not always about being first ma. is about being the "best"

to them is about the implementation not the speed
