I think you need both fobs to duplicate a third... not sure if you can duplicate without both.

Last option is go back to TEK to duplicate as they will be able to do so. Check first.

I only have one working key now. Mazda asked me to drop by their service ctr to let them check. Actually when I pressed, there is light on the remote , just that like cannot sensor my car .

Might be out of sync, why not just drop by TEK let them check. Diagnosis should be free.

Okie sure thanks . I was also thinking something like that too.

Can I check do you know we “should” only use Panasonic battery for the remote ? Tek was telling me that but I could not get Panasonic one .

Frequency reset most likely will solve

Ok noted . Thanks alot !
Think they do this to cars that are stock, thinking the owners have no mind of their own.

They just want make you change with them.

Car battery - $300+
FOB battery - $25+.

Change outside or DIY, way cheaper than TEK.

That time sit there, they tell a lady owner her car tyres not safe to drive, but is up to her to decide want to change or not... wah lao eh, what kind of workshop tells this to customers? But can tell them battery should use this and that brand??
