A little history:

Bought an Epson printer (forgot the model), used for about 6 months, the whole printer gone. The guys at Sim Lim said that the printer will stop working after printing 2000+ pages. True, I printed over 2000+ pages.

So I bought HP 6500A. Used for about one year, it's also gone after printing about 2000+ pages.

Then I bought HP8500. Used for also a year, it's also giving problem after a year, and 2000+ pages too. (I know that because my whole box of A4 paper are finished)

Does it seems to me that printers can only last 2000 pages? Or is that only for inkjet printers? For my business, I occasionally mass print 200-500 pages at one go but will that damage an inkjet?

I'm thinking of get a laser printer. Do you think they are more durable? If so, which laser printer do you recommended?

Our company is thinking getting the color laser Print/Scan/Copy/Fax printer this time.
