So far our encounters with those big lorry durian seller at pasar malam are pretty good. It's those that operate out of van, parked along Sentosa and Da Ma Hua Yuan that i will avoid.

OIC, by the way, where is the pasar malam?

As u hv correctly pointed out, those chaps operating from vans at Sentosa and Da Ma Hua Yuan look shady. I ended up patronising one stall at Henderson which my friend recommended. So far so good.

surprisingly, those vans also drive into sg to sell. they appeared in my estate. i bought one to try and it tasted good. even got business card.

Durian

Just to warn u all. I got conned by the stall at beside heartland mall, Koran mrt. I rejected the first durian and chose the 2nd one. I went to take my money and paid them. When return home, my box is full of all the lousy durian from the first durian and only 2 nice one from the 2nd durian. I always patronise the stall even though the price is a bit higher. But I guess it does not deserve any business any more.

Is this stall at the corner of the wet market near McDonald. I think it is the only stall there selling durian and his name is TAN, right?

It's the durian stall beside guardian or Watson. It's on the other side of heartland mall. Won't buy again from them

This stall has been mislabelling msw all the while. People will end up paying msw prices for cheapo durians.

My mum bought it at the market, 3 packs for $10. Definitely not MSW but still good durian.

Usually i buy my durian from JB pasar malam esp if i spot those lorry loads of durian.
We manage to get some good buys at RM5 per durian.
I seldom buy from SG.

At pelangi area.
Not advisable to tar bao and take public transport though i know of someone who does that
