according to the store owner the season will start sep-oct
now only very little and the prices is
local durain tree still yet to see any flowers

Alright, my bad for misunderstanding your statement. But..... The season has already started 2-3wks ago mate. This is a good year for durian lovers, longer seasons it seems. Sad to note, a friend's friend MSW plantation in Raub, Bentong got chopped down supposedly by the authorities. Reason being it is grown on illegal soil, despite the fact it has been around for many many years.

me had my golden pillow in May when I was in HK. 1st time taste Thailand ripe durian in HK. 1 liulian, 10 bak bak hoots for S$12. Eat until cannot walk. zu ji somemore.
