Depends on where you buy. IIRC, it was more expensive per kg when I bought them from Combat Durian last year. It's not bad but I don't feel that it's necessarily better than MSW. I had some lousy ones from the other shop at Balestier recently.

Purchased 2 MSW from a durian seller. The guy tried to speedtalk/scam me into a sale.

Weighed the 2 durians using two baskets.

Yes. The joker placed the 2 durians in 2 stacked together baskets and weighed it in front of me. Weight came to 4.5kg and can still tell me discount and give me at 4kg.

I told him to take away the baskets and the durians only weighed 3.8kg.

If not for my family wanting to eat it badly, I'd have walked away.

Be careful where you guys buy from and always watch these sellers closely.
