Durian 2014

I just bought 2 boxes of MSW durian today.Those sealed in styoform kind. But upon reaching home, i notice the durians are somewhere watery on its texture. Have i been cheated or have they gone bad?

I tried a few but i can't really tell if they've gone bad.
Can any durian expert advised me on this. Thanks.

Bad experience with a dishonest durian seller.

Yesterday went down to Jurong West blk 498 there. Got two stalls. The usual one I patronized no more msw which is near the posb atm. The other one is nearer the main road. Decided to give the other one a try.

The guy took a msw and I caught a glimpse of rubber bands at the bottom. Most likely rejected before. Before I tell him he proceeded to chop at the durian. I took a look and it was slightly watery.

Told him can i change but he said then this durian how? Cannot change.

Anybody bought from this stall before? Its at Jurong west Ave 1 blk 498 facing the main road.

Bought one MSW at this stall last month. He opened up partial for me to see and it was ok. When reached home, open the durian fully and the other side is watery. It could be durian from yesterday. I will only buy those ordinary grade durians from this stall but avoid MSW as I believe their supply not so good.

there's a 3rd stall nearby opposite the coffeeshop. honest seller. the other two bigger stalls i would only buy the kampung durians.

Sometimes even those popular sellers cannot guarantee good durians.

Bought 10 MSW at $18 per kilo from a seller at Serangoon area 7??. Only half of it is bitter with small seed, the rest are either sweet or bid seed.

kept bringing up his shi-fu name, ah seng from GhimMoh, blah blah blah.

his service is not even half of what ah seng offers.
not that i sing praise of ah seng, but so far his service is 1 of the best.
top 5 stalls i'll go, i should say.

but recently, queue very long, so i give him a miss.
feel bad, but ..... this is business.

good they weigh msw in front of you and eat on the spot, comes with free flow mangosteen too

oh he worked for ah seng? i also used to patronise ah seng but the queue this season is terrible. only went at the start and decided to visit other stalls.
