Hi All,
I just bought a new Samsung SSD Evo 850 250GB to replace my old 64 GB Crucial M4.
When I wanted to connect the Samsung SSD, I used my Sony DVD Rom SATA cable and power cable because I don't really use the DVD Rom that often.
But when I boot up my PC, it cannot detect the new SSD. Then I turn off the PC again, and this time I connect the new SSD using my Samsung 1 TB HDD SATA and power cable. With this connection, the SSD can be detected.
So I wonder, is it true that the SATA and power cable used for DVD Rom cannot be used for SSD?
Thanks.
