DVI HDMI adapter

[Maeda_Toshiie]

Need to check:
Monitor video in: DVI
System video out: HDMI
Cable: HDMI and DVI

Can I use a DVI female, HDMI male adapter (with DVI cable)? Or should I use a HDMI female, DVI male adapter (with HDMI cable)? Which one works, or both do?

I need some help to get a HDMI female, DVI male adapter. Any known shop that sells it, and at what price? I can get it at <$10 (plus shipping) from qoo10.sg but the shipping time is >3 weeks.
