Dying RAM or Mobo?

Hey guys, occasionally my system (Asrock mobo, i3770k) will stutter (especially in gaming) and then BSOD, or fail to boot up.

If I wiggle the RAM sticks around (a few times) it eventually boots up fine, until I need to repeat.

Sounds like the mobo is dying, huh? Like the RAM slots are loose/etc and after a while, the vibrations from the fans, etc dislodge them until I need to re-seat...

What do you think? Time for a new mobo?

Look like excessive vibration causing ram slots issue. You should look into reducing your fan vibration first as this will affect any replacement mobo too as well as HDD. Mobo of your generation CPU is obsolete, get from Garages Sales instead.

Yup, will need to look there. All my fans are noctua, there's barely any vibration, which makes me think the ram slots really uplorry already.

Place your hand on various parts of the casing and feel the vibration.

clean the ram contacts with some alcohol, can be just connection issue.
