If I backup my current iPhone with e-SIM profile, and restore as back up on my another iPhone, will my e-SIM profile be carried over as well?

If not transferred I need to pay $5 to activate the e-SIM profile on my other iPhone?
Which telco offer eSim? Not Circles I Guess . Iphone 10 has dual SIM cards function but only one physical sim card slot so the other Sim will hv to be an eSim.
Any idea bo?

Yeah. Still waiting. A month after iPhone being launched still nothing. Can’t imagine StarHub brings if first making Singtel the biggest telco in Singapore to price eSIM the last.

I dun understand why the Chinese iphone version has 2 physical SIM cards slot n not the Sg version? What’s the problem with Apple Singapore? They r forcing us to use China phones which mostly have dual SIM card slots.

I think more like they are forcing people to be progressive. I think if they have a choice. There will not be any physical sim at all. They are kind enough to even provide one.

They have 2 physical sims for China cause of the issue with the law.

Do you mean what's the problem with Apple China? Apple Singapore are similar to the rest of the world Apple, all are getting one sim slot with esim support.

Apple didn't force you to use iphones from China. You force yourself to. No?

I’m glad to have purchased local set with 1 physical sim slot and 1 e-sim slot. For travelling I use Airalo which utilises e-sim, cheaper than m1’s data passport and more convenient than purchasing a foreign sim card (also hate having to mess with the sim card slot tray). Additionally, don’t need to worry about activation fee from our local telcos.

How to use this Airalo thing?

Buy the package then can use already?

After payment (which I use paypal for) you will get a QR code in app under my eSims menu. Follow the instructions to activate it and from there you can track data usage as well as expiry date of your esim package.

Yoodo works as an eSIM for and as CELCOM telco. It works in SG unless you got their roaming plans.

If you wanna try out eSIM, you can get AirAlo plans or GigSky.

Otherwise, you can sign up with Yoodo with my unique (invite) code:
Hey! You’ll* get* FREE* 7GB when* you* sign* up* to* Yoodo*.
Just sign up using my referral link

OR enter my unique Referral Code pjqii9147 at the confirmation page when you activate!
