Hello all

Will appreciate if anyone can provide me quotation for ManuCompleteCare?
considering sum assured 50K, 80K and 100K.

Currently have Prulife Multiplier base sum assured 50K and its early crisis rider 30K. Oh yea, I am born in 1988, non smoker, male.

Wonderful thread discussion so far and thanks for all contributing!

50k - 46.91
80k - 69.76
100k - 87.20

can someone advise me whether I am still able to buy a CI with early stage?

Hi all.. I'm a 39yo male, non smoker single. Claimed a CI from AIA last Dec as I was diagnosed with stage 1 (3cm) kidney cancer. Did partial nephrectomy surgery and successfully removed the bad cells. no further medication/treatment is required. Can I still buy a new CI plan with early stage with any of the insurers? Thanks

Money Mind

Suggest a very beneficial health insurance plan for a family where minimum age 11 and maximum age 50.

For Early, Mid or Late Stage Critical Illness, it is good to check and find out more on the salient points.

I hope to add value by offering neutral advice. Do PM me for a meaningful discussion.

How are you able to offer neutral advice?

Do you provide comparison of GE's product vis-a-vis other companies (including the recently launched Aviva early CI products?)

Given that you are a GE agent, i find it hard to convince myself that you are 'neutral'

Sorry to revive this old thread but i don't wish to create another one that discusses the same topic.

Currently i have the PruLife Multiplier (7th series) that covers Death/Accelerated Terminal Illness/Accelerated Disability/Crisis Cover III/Early Crisis Cover Multiplier for SA of 100k and MB of 290k (first 3)/240k (last 2). I'm paying $5189 for 15 years. Out of it, $1336 is for Early Crisis Cover Multiplier.

I also have GE's EPCC Plus Term since 2011. SA is 100k till 2043. I'm paying $725 for 32 years.

Since i have the PruLife, the GE EPCC Plus Term seems to be redundant and i won't be able to claim from both sides anyway. I acknowledge that once i claim the early CI from PruLife, it also affects the SA of my other benefits but i still have GE's Essential Term and Living Term SA 200k each to complement. So, is it wise for me to cancel the EPCC?

You can claim from both sides for such plans.

Thanks for the info. Would you recommend to keep the plan?

Do you require those amounts of early stage C.I coverage? My view is that if you do not have other plans that give coverage, your death coverage actually seems to be lacking. Assuming you are supporting parents/children.

ESCI coverage pays out upon diagnosis, but you may still be able to continue to work during the ESCI stage. If you do not have an integrated shield plan in place, I recommend that as your first priority. The term ESCI you may wish to drop if you feel the coverage from your Prulife Multiplier is enough, and increase your death coverage with a term plan if you need to do so.

Overall this should bring your premiums down.

Other things to include in your consideration are if you're still young and healthy etc.

Curious: any ECI plan will not change price with age?

Currently with AVIVA Saf ECI plan. quite cheap. But i heard there is a limit to how many can claim a year.

Any better alternative to that?

Thanks for the analysis.

I am currently single and my parents do not entirely rely on me. Integrated shield plan refers to? What i have now are:
  1. Prudential's PruLife Multiplier for 15 years SA 100k, MB 2.9x and 2.4x
  2. GE's Essential Term SA 200k
  3. GE's Essential Living Term SA 200k
  4. GE's Family3 for 10 years SA 50k
  5. GE's SupremeHealth and TotalShield

At one glance it seems like you might be over-insured, unless you will be getting liabilities soon perhaps?

Integrated shield plan is your supremehealth and totalshield rider. You already have it, that's good.

wow 2014 thread... its per month... early ci not cheap...

u already have early ci? dont get more if u already have one unless u got cash to burn (its a standalone term plan)... alternatively u can upgrade ur saf plan...

im not pru agent... but if u are comparing plans... mayb it will help to compare their effects of deductions ... multiplier most companies has it... nothing special...
