I got my PES status recently. Is there anyway to get enlisted early?

If you have no intention of furthering your studies in poly/jc/ite , you can volunteer to enlist early as long as you are above 16.5 years of age. But you will definitely not be eligible for command school

If you are asking to enlist early because you just finish your poly/jc and want to be in the first wave of ppl going in, it is not possible and dependant on CMPB, your test you did in CMPB and the training facility of tekkong (aka you have no choice in this)

The psychometric test that all of us did at CMPB plays a part in determining which wave of enlistment we end up in? Didn’t know that :o

Is it true that most scholars end up in the first wave?

I am pretty sure a lot of things play a factor

I don't think anyone here can say for sure as there is no publicly available statistics to confirm that.

To a certain extend yes. Example if you did well for say your physics/iq of the mapas , high chance you will go arty or engineer. So they will commonly wait for this 2 vocations to open before pumping in potential candidates.

Scholars wise not nesscary but they will commonly go into Delta wing of OCS , so will match the POP date to the opening of Delta's OCS

Need more information such as are you currently studying, graduated from school etc?

It is possible to ask for early enlistment for those who graduated from school and is intending to further studies.

1. One guy who just got graduated from Poly and is not intending to further studies wrote an E-Mail and got his enlistment letter to enlist in May. He wrote that he is keen to apply for Earn and Learn programme and interview is in April and October.

2. Same situation but he attached his uni offer in the E-Mail and got his enlistment letter to enlist in July.

Obviously TS isn't studying or intending to finish his studies if not why would he be asking. So to answer his question, yes there is such a thing called voluntary early enlistment.

I volunteered for it to get my NS out of the way since my grades weren't great. Turned out NS changed my perspective in life but that's another story.

Would love to hear your story. Maybe you can start a new track to share your story with us.

meant for others to see cause he doesn't want to see.

not sure how it is obvious. it might be possible that he got his PES as per normal and just want to get into an earlier batch rather than wait till the later batch.

Long story short, wasn’t interested in studies so thought get NS out of the way asap then start work. But during NS learnt the importance of studies so after NS continued studying. Anyway we digress.

i agree with reddevil too. From TS previous thread on how he wanted to sign RSAF, i believe TS should already be holding at least an A level or diploma. I doubt RSAF will accept any lower
