Hellow.. I'll be going HK on early July for 4 days 3 nights, with my elderly mother.

May I know what is the weather in early July?

Intend to bring my mom to temples and Macau, and also either Ocean Park or Disney Land.

Is there any 1 day trip to Macau that I can buy from local travel agency?

Which part should i stay in HK if my mom cannot walk a lot. I plan to take taxi to-fro airport, Big Buddha, Victoria Peak, Ocean Park and etc... Is this advisable?

HK to Macau think can take turbo jet, one way is around 30+ sgd per person.
Cab can be expensive :)

I don't recommend bringing your mum to Macau. The ferry across can get really choppy. Few years back saw an old lady got sea sick. Really pitiful. There's some walking needed especially at Senado Square.
As your trip is short save Macau foot another time.

You can stay at usual Jordan, Yau Ma Tei, Mongkok areas.

Hong Kong’s summer from late May to the mid-September is extremely hot and humid, with frequent thunderstorms and occasional typhoons. Average temperature is 28 C (82 F). The hottest is in July and August when the mean daytime temperature often exceeds 32 C (90 F). However, the Discount Season is also attractive, in addition to the aquatic activities in Ocean Park and Disneyland. Bring an umbrella, and light weight cotton shorts and dresses. Always pay attention to the weather forecast to avoiding being caught out by the rain.

Oh! Let me discuss with my mom about that. Thank you so much for the info.
If that's the case, maybe bring her to ShenZhen using the mtr?

MTR > Getting Around > Airport Express Services > Free Airport Express Shuttle Bus Service

from airport u can take airport express kowloon and there will be free buses to some hotels refer to the above links for the list of hotels.

big buddha might be taxing for ur mum as its a long stairs up. however, i have seen coaches ferrying ppl right to the top of where the big buddha is but i have no info on the price and etc.

Airport express for 3 adults costs roughly the same as the taxi fare to and from the airport. There's no transfer needed for taxi. Given there an elderly in the party think would make better sense to take taxi.

That's cheap. Personally I prefer taking the bus. Save the hassle of transferring to the shuttle.

Don't forget walking to the taxi stand at the airport is further than express station.

I regretted when taking cab to hotel but return via express train. I think for the express train we only paid 220hk for family of 4 package using octopus cards.

Walking down the slope and distance not that far. Also avoid a transfer and managing the baggage. End of the day everyone has to decide whether that hassle is worth passing a little more for.

Because I'm alone with my mother, so I will be carrying 2 trolley luggage plus 1 hand luggage. So couldn't manage much so thought if taking cab is easier.
I hope Hong Kong is as safe as Singapore? Cause too clumsy can't be too vigilant also.
Should I stay within Hong Kong island or near Jordan? Still cracking my head on this question. Any suggestion?

HK is safe so long as you take usual precautions when overseas.

Actually either will do. In HK common area will be Causeway Bay or Wanchai. My personal preference is Jordan. There's lots of shopping and food nearby. Your mum can easily go back to the hotel to rest if required while you can pop up to do some shopping etc.

Word of warning don't buy dried seafood from the shops along Nathan Road.

I stayed in Causeway bay which has everything! It's an awesome location but slightly pricey.
MTR is very accessible so dont worry. Cabs are reasonable if short distance and dont travel highways.

haha yeah, booked yourself is cheaper :) Can read reviews and then choose based on location, size and reviews lol .... Normally different websites would have different discount vouchers :) You can google to find then apply to your bookings to save more :)

It is not going to matter much. The Big Buddha is a great deal further than the other 2 places, relative to either hotel.
