Earphone Mic problem

I am using a aJays earphone with mic and I plugged into the pink color hole on the mother board. But the mic doesn't work.
No voice is being recorded down.

Previously I used a Sony earphone that comes with a Xperia Z and it does work when I plug it into the pink color port but now this aJays doesn't.

My Samsung one also can't work.

Anyone know how should I go about now ?
Using a MSI Z77A-G43 Gaming board.

Also when I plug into the front port that has a green and pink one.

The green one suppose to be for listen but the sound coming out from the earphone is blur and can't be heard clearly.

earphone mic does not work bro, they only work on phones.

I have samsung earpiece with mic. on phone works normally.

But when i plug in to pink jack, the sound isnt recorded in the mic hole, instead the earpiece itself becomes mic. I can speak into the earpiece and sound comes out on speaker.

Maybe it might work the same way for u.

meaning i plug into the pink one and i speak into the mic also ?
i tried this way too. cant work

u could buy mic from ebay for less than sgd 1.5. But what i dont like about it need to put near mouth then can hear clearly. In the end for me, i just use line wifi call and use earpiece to chat with friend in game. You could also use skype for android or google hangouts

i guess my only option now is to get a headphone for gaming.
i'm using gtalk for league of legends.
