A company that promises 5% return per month is absolutely not trustworthy. No way. No how. I don't know how they're doing it, but it's not kosher.

Tell him this:

"I asked a friend who's been an FX trader for a bank for a decade. He says 'those returns are impossible. Nobody can really do 5% a month; and if they could they wouldn't be sharing the secret with regular people like you or me'. He says it's a scam, and he wants you to keep your money in the bank."

Does anyone have a link to the page, or the email, or whatever, where they're offering this "5% per month interest" thing? I'd like to get a copy of it so I can see what's actually going on here; PM me if you have it.

I heard about easycapital too. Apparantly, the rate of interest is for a promotional period for 18 months only, and it's going to be lowered end of this month (August).

Additionally, the interest can go up to 8% (> 50k funds), meaning a whooping 96% return after 1 year (simple returns).

But till date i have not seen (or requested to see any documentation), cos i guess i'm a conservative guy, and won't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

The company needs to have a basis to back up this return.

ask him for the company's audited income statement, balance sheet and cashflow statements. study it to see if they are capable of backing this obligation.

Its been said so many times .....If its too good to be true, it probably is.

This Easy Capital scheme, read ?SCAM?, is very similar to this one from Maxim Trader. For USD10K, you get 6% per month! WOw...even better than Easy Capital.
And for USD 100K, one will get $8,000 dividend monthly! Wow...why even work,.... just enjoy life and collect the easy dividends! Really!?

Be warned, your friend should go read up on Ponzi and MLM schemes . Maxim even has incentive programs like BMW cars for its highest grossing sales staff! They even have their own VISA card!

Your friend should be made aware that there will no legal recourse for him should the company default, since the companies are more often unregulated.
So he should be prepared to lose all his investment.

If they can generate 30% monthly, why do they still need to ask you for money and give you 12% monthly?

The bank has lower interest and is easier to manage.

If you can show a bank that your business is legit and can generate huge profit, no bank is going to say no.

But they can't do this. Why? Because they are not a legit company is the first place and what they do are illegal.

The reason why they are asking from public is becuase this is a Ponzi scheme, they are just using new victims' money to pay old victims. When the Ponzi gets big enough, they are going to take the money and run.

I've been trading for many years and have many professional trader friends, I've not seen a trader that can consistently make 30% monthly. So don't be sucker into this scam.

Name sounds dodgy enough. Sometimes it is best to let your friend find out for himself, they are not asking you for adverse advice, they only want to hear confirmations that it is a good investment a.k.a selective hearing.

Just warn your friend against investing in it so that if he does go in, you got ur ass coverrd cause he will surely try to find someone to blame once things go wrong and it will not be himself.
