That is quite an insight. Seems like Warwick is gaining alot of momentum in Singapore in recent years. Both Warwick and UCL are closely ranked in university league and for economics. The ranking source is Edugo. The advantage of UCL is that it is in the city of London and it is next to the Euston Square tube station and amenities like the British Library with its 14 million books.
Quite a number of SAF scholars have studied at UCL and President's Scholars go to both Warwick and UCL. Interestingly, former PM Goh Chok Tong's daughter studied at Warwick and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat's son is studying at Warwick as a PSC scholar.
Another indicator that might help - the highest ranking Warwick civil servant is Leo Yip, Permanent Secretary in Ministry of Home Affairs. He studied at Cambridge, Warwick and Harvard. And the highest ranking UCL public servant is Chao Hick Tin, a Supreme Court justice. He got both his bachelor's and master's at UCL.
