Edge ftw... you will not regret it.

If you have a 5.1/7.1 desktop surround system, it will stream/playback surround sound better than Chrome.

Just fyi, I suspect MS Edge is developed by Indian Developer because observe the data packet were sent back to MS India IP during the beta version. Can't find any source how many MS product actually had been outsource to india.

Opera/MS Edge is not as bad as Chrome so far if based on resource usage.

You mean the new Edge.. which is the same browser engine as Chrome.

Microsoft claims the new Edge uses less resources, you can try both for comparison.

Old Edge and IE11 will go out of support.

Chrome don care about memory and processor anymore; simply demand as much as can be found. Result, slow.

Task manager shows lesser than half the CPU required with same tabs opened in edge.

Chrome when pc 16gb ram or using chromebook (any spec)

Edge wen pc 8gb ram.

If hardware permits, definitely chrome especially when google apps are used

Totally agree on this.. Chrome started off as a light weight and non bloated browser. But unfortunately as they gained dominance and market share, they started ignoring the fundamentals that once got them the dominance.

But it performs superbly on chromebooks

I use Chrome at work, At home chrome seems to hog resources , testing out Edge, Seems really good, low on resources.

I tested with exactly the same tabs opened on both and Edge did it with less RAM.

Chrome will often lag after sometime but Edge doesn't.

Pretty impressive.

Switch to edge not long back.
Everything is good on edge. Just the tab color I don't like. But mobile version of the chrome is awesome. I like the meun at bottom and their whole interface. Hi and UX both are good.

If without edge,I would rather use opera than chrome .

I dropped Brave after learning and experienced affiliate links hijacking especially on crypto sites. :(
