Edit jpg software

Hi all, anyone got any software to recommend to edit image files ? Things i also like to do is combine 2 or 3 jpg file into one . I think photoshop can do it . But i like to know if there are any more ?

photoshop and GIMP.

CS3 is avaliable now as freeware and GIMP is open source.

Try Imagemagick if you want something automated for certain tasks :)
