Major migration news today!

1. The duration of an initial Temporary Graduate visas (TGV) will be shorter.
• 2 years for Bachelor Degree
• 2 years Masters by coursework
• 3 years for Masters by research
• 3 years for PhD

2. Maximum age for TGV will be reduced to 35 from 50.

Ok la....What can you do when the rules keep changing?

At least still got 2yrs for the grad visa. Better than NOTHING.
IF you are talented and good, surely can get a job when you have graduated.

OR told you before, marry a local AMDL then you can forever stay in oz lor.
OR ask amransan shu shu to sponsor you for PR lor...lol

Guess the new rule might take this 2 yrs later to start to run. So, you better study hard and quickly graduate in order to make it on time for the 5yrs grad visa.

IF not all efforts, planning and time will be wasted. Worst to worst, make your plan B to move to NZ or UK lor...

I have this feeling.....

IF the graduate visa and immigration rules have started to change. Soon or later, other rules on PR or application on new shitizen will also start to change soon.

Keep a head up and be alert to these changes! But anyway, since you are on board.
