Which part of MEL u went and stayed

eg, u go melb, mai kum gong go jalan jalan in broadmedows or footscray lah

go Melb, find airbnb in Carlton or east melb.

area is good. short rides around CBD area via trams / bus

CBD area got library, museum, gardens, DFO, ACMI, MCG, south melb market, qv market, zoo, marvel stadium

another option is airbnb in st kilda, not bad also.

near sea side. but v crowded.

if u want somewhere quiet, safe, relaxing, look into williamstown / newport area

and if u dunno the area, plz dont go walking there at night

if u really scared, just get those cheap service apartments in heart of CBD along lonsdale / la throb street ba

near Chinatown/koreatown - always got supermarket open late late, food outlets close late late also.

shopping not really, but iirc got 1 kmart there open 24hrs if u need emergency stuff

its not bad, theres still streets that are very runned down

i guess if u picked airbnb places near highpoint shopping centre, around maribyrnong side, it'll be nice lah

but everything near the footscary train station is still pretty shitty

just that whole area around the train station, u can see druggies, baggers, homeless during the day

I only stayed in the CBD area. Didn't rent car nor book any day trip either. Only took train to St kilda and south market.

That trip was more about food actually.

Not Oriental shops. they operate 9am-9pm. when the Aussie open their shops, they find that their business are snatched by more hardworking people.
