Hello all! Stumbled upon this thread while hunting for a new edc.
used to have a swiss knife but is yucky now. 13 years and counting.
ultrasonic the gunk out of it but am trying to find a new knife instead.
not sure how the community here sees a Benchmade Bugout?
am looking at the S90V version.

also, as this might be my first utility knife, any reason to own one folding knife?

Knife up for sale, most of them are in mint condition, with box and all original stuffs, including:
Sypderco, benchmade, ZT, Shirogorov, Cold steel, We, Reate, and many others.
Please PM me for details.
Heya, may be interested but not sure if you can DM me.

If you intend to carry it outside, just make sure the blade is under 3" long.

I carry a SOG Mini Vulcan and I've never had any trouble with the police. One policeman said, "it's a penknife".

Kinda late to your reply but anyway,

i have the benchmade bugout.

very smooth action. There's even a youtube video that's like few hours long just showing the opening and closing of the bugout... non stop...

Greetings to all seniors here. 🙏

I’m starting my journey on my knife collecting and am eyeing Benchmade knives.

But after much research, I learnt about the weakness of the Omega Springs, which is the Achilles’ heel. For those with experience with the knifes, correct me if I’m wrong: I think the question is not whether the springs will break, but rather, When it will break?

As I’m researching how much it’ll cost to ship the knife back to Benchmade in USA to claim warranty, I found that there’s restrictions to shipping knifes, especially to USA, as they are considered prohibited items.

May I know, for those who have sent knifes successfully back to USA to claim warranty, which shipping company did you use and how much was the cost? And any pitfalls to avoid?

TIA🙏

Interesting, just the blade itself? Not including the hilt?

The SOG mini Vulcan has a 2.9" blade. With the handle, it will be more than 6" long. So yes, only the blade.

Bear in mind that even if the knife is legal, it may still be a weapon and if you have intention, it may still be used against you in the court of law, I think.
