This was my trekking path to the base camp in its final 2 days up..it was breathtaking and epic

Will definately remember for life..it was not easy trekking up with own legs

Wouldn't it be even tougher to trek up with other people's legs?

Must have licensed guide to move about 1?
Then what do they eat there? Is it mostly beef & mutton?
I only just learnt few weeks ago that 蒙古 & 内蒙古 are 2 different jurisdictions.

No need licensed guide. They don't have a developed tourism industry, so good luck finding one. You will need to rent a car, and drive yourself everywhere.

Israel in 2004 so I still had a hard copy album

Went to both israel and Palestinian land - I never went Gaza cos my friend say that suicidal

Anyway I mingled with the people there as an independent traveller and I got their perspectives. The vast majority of people I met are not like what the news portray. They just want to live in peace - but this is another story for another thread

26 years old

And it’s precisely cos not much money then you have such experience.

Cos no money so I stay in hostels, worked in kibbutz, take their public transport, hitched rides etc

If had money will jitao take package tour and miss out on all the experiences

It just means while scenaries are beautiful, you have to climb it up yourself and it is tough

not every place have a cable car to go up. And cable car disrupt the sky line. I gave up on landscape cos there is much higher time penalty

But nothing beats doing it yr own while you can.

I seen 50s 60s and maybe older on the trek
anyone can do it

Like u always travel, u knw what I meant.
Seeing it with owns eyes
