dontch understand dinosaur technology. the watches imma think looks like art are vc, jlc and breguet.
Different people different strokes. I collect because I actually do use them when I dive. Same for my wife, we travel quite a bit, and she has problem with keeping track of singapore time when we move across several time zones. She still has work schedules while on holidays, cant blame her, running own show is like that.

Haha no right no wrong bro.

see your personality too.

Grand Seiko for example had some really Tok Kong specs at half the price of Rolex for example.

Some buy full expense but love the watch, some want a blend of both ‘don’t lose too much money’ and spec!

I only collect dive watches. Casio, citizen, seiko, ball, rolex and blancpain. My wife collects GMTs. We have quite a few of other watches that HG sales asked her to buy eg. Tudor, panerai and some other crap. Recently just got allotted a Starbucks from them.
Bro, any diver or gmt to recommend 37-38inch?

The Tudor 37mm lagoon blue like not bad? And can hold value decent. Not make money one

GMT I’m not too well versed need recommendation.

I am not into GMT so not sure, but there are many dive watches out there. If you are gonna use for diving, dont get one with a light coloured dial. You will have difficulties reading it underwater. Blancpain has smaller sized divers. Their fifty fathoms Bathyscaphe is 38mm i think. Blancpain fifty fathom is the original dive watch. They made the very 1st dive watch, 1 yr later rolex came out with submariner.

it look very big size for asian wrist.
Divers are meant to be big so can read easily underwater.
The things I look out for in a dive watch is large dial, good lumo and tight bezel. I find rolex bezel too loose, it moves too easily. Every time it moves while diving, means shorter bottom time. I changed out most of the bracelets and watchbands for NATO straps. Nato straps are $3 a piece on aliexpress. They are more secure then whatever bracelet or watchband. The watch still stays on your wrist even if you popped a lug pin.

My blancpain on a 3sgd nato strap. Hahaha. My wife say I cheapo.

Oh wow thanks for the history…

perhaps just stick with Tudor 37mm as shortlist for now! Somehow the blue one super cheap.

aiming for lagoon.
