on the apple store website they only say use the self-service function or call the toll-free number, but they never explain the details like must bring ur merchandise to this address etc

Actually Apple does have education pricing..

Its kind of hidden away (i really have no idea why though)

I still find that if you are enrolled in some uni (like NUS), it comes with software packages that ends up more worth than buying directly from Apple..
